Another early morning rise, this time to catch the ferry at 6.30 am. While waiting at the 'port' a little boat brought in some children for school. How cool getting to school by boat. We all fell asleep on the ferry, exhausted from our mini holiday - we'd had a fab time! We made it back to land about 9ish but the drive home was crazy and took about 5 hours. The traffic in Manila really is horrendous. It's so busy, ...

Whilst we were swimming and relaxing, Ferdie and "gums" had barbequed us some pork, chicken and fish with rice, vegetables and salad...a lunch really fit for kings and queens and we were both completely stuffed until dessert. Anyway, we 'did it' , ten minutes later the bag was packed, and the plan for today is to spend the whole day at the ...

    ... maintained that shrimp taste.

To be fair we took the guard and his wife four sticks, two from Yuri and two from me, we didn’t tell him who cooked what.

We left him to eat and told him a review would be requested on our return, more on that later.

We went back to the grill to the cooking of the squid.

One thing we both learned about cooking squid, the grill was very hot but once the squid was put on ...

... to escape its madness for some time. The whole place has a totally different feeling than AC or Subic to it and I really enjoyed my time there. Like Boracay there is a White Beach on Mindoro as well, almost as nice but less touristy, which for me is a plus. With its high mountains covered with jungle, the tropical island
of Mindoro has a very laid-back and adventurous vibe to it. It almost felt like starring in a Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park ...
