      JaneO strikes again...

Another early morning rise, this time to catch the ferry at 6.30 am. While waiting at the 'port' a little boat brought in some children for school. How cool getting to school by boat. ... to escape its madness for some time. The whole place has a totally different feeling than AC or Subic to it and I really enjoyed my time there. Like Boracay there is a White Beach on Mindoro as well, almost as nice but less touristy, which for me is a plus. With its high mountains covered with jungle, the tropical island
of Mindoro has a very laid-back and adventurous vibe to it. It almost felt like starring in a Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park ...

... and of course San Mig Light. We went to nine houses, and I literally met over 100 members of the family. Also, I had my very first (and all of Batangas hope my last) Christmas video karaoke experience.

It was a wonderful (and exhausting) Christmas Day.

New Year's was spent in Novaliches, both at Uncle Noling's house and Nanay and Tatay's. Yet another feast, with macaroni salad, grilled tilapia and bangus, ham, and the highlight...relleno ...
