... The path was much busier today (obviously not so many people do the route UP and OVER these hills) and in fact much narrower so it was at times tricky letting people past. Monterosso is the bigger of the villages and had quite a girls enjoyed a good wander around the many shops and managed to pick up a few fun bits to take home ( still managing to fit it all in the bag I came ...

... aperitivo. We set up the wine, cheese, and grapes and they brought Pringles and limoncello. We left for a wine tasting of Cinque Terre Wines back at the place we stayed at the first night but only had to go up 100 steps to reach their deck. If we missed that train we are so dead and all our plans will ...

It’s amazing how many people set up shop on the rocks to sun themselves for the day. The 10 minute boat ride provided spectacular views of Riomaggiore, Corniglia, and Manorolo. We kicked ourselves for not taking the boat sooner, as it was a little
cheaper than the train. The crowds in Manorolo ...

We head towards Genoa for a lunch stop, the Irish couple said it was a lot like the French Riviera. We thought we'd like the experience. Wrong! Huge city, tiny streets, tons of people, cars and dirt. We see a sign for parking and take the exit. It's like a giant spiral staircase that leads us straight into hell. We park in a city garage that our little Fiat barely fits in, walk out the the street and turn right back around, get in the car and get the hell out of there. On the ...
