... bus ride to the main bus station, then waited from 8:50am till 10:45am for the bus to St Andrews- since there is a reduced schedule on Sundays and then had a lovely 2 and a half hour bus ride and took in all the rolling hills and hay that surrounded us, such a cool, different setting! It was actually super sunny and no clouds in Glasgow but slowly the clouds started to emerge but the weather is PERFECT!! No dying of heat and humidity for miss ...

... birthday we lay pretty low. Went for a nice big walk and called into one of our new favourite places - Patisserie Madeleine, a deliciously amazing French bakery. We did a nice big sushi dinner that night and that was that!

The campsite shower is indeed basic but adequate: 50p in the coin meter delivers enough hot water for both of us so no complaints there and no queue since there are only three people on the campsite including us! We find ourselves on the road in no time. We arrive ...

Woke up in the eerily empty Kilmartin Hotel, and crept downstairs at our appointed time of 8am to find a stranger (apparently the owner, who had had a day off playing golf yesterday) in the dining room offering us breakfast. As we were the only people there, service was a LOT quicker and we soon had a hearty "Full Scottish" (including black pudding, which I really like; last time I tried it, 12 years ago, it was disgusting, all gritty) inside us and could set off ...
