Town was full of more students lugging suitcases and bags of groceries, and their entourages of parents and younger siblings hauling more suitcases and bedside ...
... and of course, bought cupcakes at Bibi's (best cupcake ever!).
Friday ended up in the Central at 4.30. I think it is one of my favorite pub in St Andrews with his square bar in the middle and I was surprised to see the same barmen than a year ago! It felt like I had never left for a minute.

The flat is odd: entry off a flight of steps up from the garden into a long passage. In turn there is the bathroom, spare bedroom, kitchen bedroom off the passage, then the lounge/ dining in the front, towards the street. The furniture is elderly but solid, and the bed small but hopefully not too soft. Curtains not so great, though - first thing tomorrow is really thick, heavy curtains for our bedroom!

We went for a sneak around the university grounds which were very quiet as it was holidays. We were sort of rushed to get to Edinburgh for the night so we didnt give it as much time as we could have.
Definitely will head back there before we leave Scotland.

My dad was having some extreme back pain so we had to make a side trip to Edinburgh General Hospital today. He is feeling much better and should be able to manage the pain easier throughout the rest of the trip.
