    ... was nice so I just took my time. And after a sufficient amount of waiting and sitting around (which I have never exactly been good at) headed off to enjoy the rest of my afternoon. Since it was Shrove Tuesday, I was invited over to a friend's house with my flatmate Francis for some delicious pancakes for dinner. With a wonderfully full belly, I then headed off to the bus station to pick up Eilish!

    ... tired and bewildered at the whole situation we may have laughed at the moment! We all settle into Emily’s dorm room for a short little replenishment nap followed by her need to go to morning class and our need to check into our B&B.     ... local ones. I like the coldest beer on tap. Did I mention before that half a pint is exactly that? And half the price of a full pint, not like in Canada where they rip you off if you order a smaller amount of beer. We had enough room for dessert, so I asked about Clootie pudding. When a waitress sneers delicately while describing it, it's maybe a good idea not to get it, so I didn't.

    ... up and out of the park and got our first look at the city center with the Royal Mile and the Edinburgh Castle. Holy Cow! If it wasn’t so cold, we could have spent a lot of time just looking at that view (we were by the National Gallery).
