... children are wild with a lot of energy and a bit of an attitude. The family is absolutely wonderful otherwise and everyone is so welcoming. I feel very safe and happy here in Logrono. Matilda is helping me even more with my spanish in exchange for me helping her with English

... into town, as was Sheree. I told her about Breanna sitting on the hill and she laughed. We sat on the grass and ate our lunch and when Breanna arrived we shared some chips. ... the doors get closed just after 10pm. Obviously it is not the pilgrim way to be out until all hours.

We saw a few people along the trail we have not seen for a week or so. One couple recognised us, he put his foot into leaves up in the Pyrenees and sank down to half way up his shins. He bellowed with laughter at the time, although his foot probably nearly froze.

... Coming down the slopes into Logrono again to the sound of church bells but interspersed with what sounded just like the Sandanistas from Freo! No hurrying down the hill could get us down in Time to watch the parade or whatever it was. Feet just wouldn't travel faster.
