... tend to do, the Spanish get in and out very quickly. You either like the clothes and buy it or you don't like it and you put it back immediately. There is no time to think or to ponder. Despite the speed, it was an absolute blast. Marta and I get along very well. Once we returned, I finally was able so FaceTime with my mom. After dinner, Mario, Marta and I had a big discussion on politics and cultural differences between the United State and Espana. For me, these are some of the ...

Logrono is a university town so pretty lively. We are in the old part of town which apparently is from the Byzantine period, around the 12th Century. Usual routine - claim a bed, shower, limp around a bit getting organised, have a rest and then go out exploring for a while.

We found a ruin of a church and took some pictures of ourselves and of a tour group. Finally it was dinner time. Semi decent tapas ...

I set out today to only walk 20k of this stage to a little town called Ventosa. The conditions were perfect for walking, a cool breeze overcast skies (threatening in fact) and relatively flat way. It seemed a long walk to clear Legrono and I saw Jas from Holland on the way. We shared a coffee and a roll. I slept with Jas in Orisson. All along the way today we were in wine growing country. Vast expanses of grape vines and a few wineries. When I reached a small town called Navarette at ...
