    ... Murano and Burano Islands. Poor Wazza missed out. The tour took us to a glass factory on Murano where we were given a demonstration of glass blowing. The man who showed us how to do the glass blowing had worked in the factory for 36 years. The guide told us no young people wanted to learn the trade anymore as they are required to undertake a 12 year apprenticeship.
