    ... our last breakfast on the ship and I got bacon, eggs and of course tomato sauce. Once we had all had enough food to fill us up we went down a couple of levels to where we had to disembark the ship. We got there and were told that we could already disembark so we did and walked off the ship to go find our bags. We got to the main part of Venice where the train station is located and hurled our bags over the stairs ...

    ... Lazzarani factory, where the master glass maker, Alexander, demonstrated the two methods of making glass by blowing a vase and then by making a horse out of a mass of molten glass. After the demonstration we were taken into a showroom housing an exhibition of all the different types of glassware produced by the factory and, of course, encouraged to make purchases!

    ... and, since we'd left C at home, we felt guilty staying too long without her. However, we found a seat and stayed for a couple of the readings. I was glad to experience St. Mark's Basilica, not as a tourist attraction, but as it was intended, for worship. After we left, we sat by the canal for a few minutes, listening to the music drifting from the piazza, before heading home and doing a little packing. Our last night in Italy...

    ... is extremely hilarious when we work out it's not going to be a quick easy meal! It hilarious to watch her face as plates of pasta, pasta and more pasta are bought out. One table got a little happy as they enjoyed 16 bottles of wine whilst playing Buffalo (drinking with left hand only you must finish your drink if caught drinking with your right!) or having to share a table with the South African couple.     ... two entrances. The guide explained that many years ago there was a dispute between the two districts which the church bordered. So the parishioners did not have to mix with each other as they attended church, two doors were built so they could enter and exit on their respective sides.
