... with Nanna. Check out the photo - Mamma Mia!! At our hotel breakfast this morning, we were served blood orange juice and yoghurt (that's the healthy bit) then croissant and mini panini (I'm probably committing a tautology there) with ham and cheese. Carbs never tasted so ...

... others but all are interesting. There are also shops where people could paint their own masks. Now getting them home, another story.

There is always another interesting building, its doors and windows, and of course the canals running here and there and the boats moving around,

... I was in fact the 'nice guy' now. I rebutted. "I don't want that title, nice guys finish last".
"Oh no, no! Not on thirty-six day tours they don't" she replied, smiling at me. This sticks out in my mind so much, was this another one of her supposed 'chances' or is she just being nice? ... around Venice, trying not to be charged for things that were scams (aka "The Tourist Tax").

Later in the day, we took a Gondola ride around a small section of Venice. It's a cool idea in theory but a little lackluster in practice.

The evening ended with a 4 course Venetian meal that tasted delicious, if a little overfilling.

      Departing Venice for Florence

... in. Luckily, the room had converters so we were able to charge the bare necessities.

All in all, arriving in Florence was great and we loved our accommodations. They just improved with every location change, which was a good feeling. For anyone looking for a fantastic hotel to stay in within Florence, Hotel Dali is the place to go. It's pretty close to everything but also not in a super touristy area too, which made finding good local food really easy.
