Well it's the first day being temporarily unemployed. Feels weird knowing I won't be going back to the hospital to work. Got a lot accomplished. My passport arrived finally. Wonderworks - we got $2/pp off coupons in a book at the cabin. Worked out to $78 for 2 adults, 2 kids after the discount. We were there from 1ish to 4 then left for dinner. Day 2: Tubing with Gator Tubes at Deep Creek. $3/tube
Gator Tubes is one of the first rental places u see on the road to Deep Creek. Run by a retired probation officer, they charmed us with their warm Southern hospitality. Lifejackets for the 2 little ones were an extra $5 each. They tied the tubes on top of our van and off we went!
