I'd also recommend the steam train which takes you to SS. Great Britain. If you don't mind coughing a tad at the steam it's a great way to take in the river which flows right through the middle of the city. Add into this the FREE museum detailing Bristol's fantastic history and the local wildlife to be found, Bristol truly is a forgotten gem.

... because the stores were open on Sundays which is rare in the UK, secondly because of the numerous amounts of stores. And this was nowhere near as busy as the mall in Birmingham.
