Had a big sleep. Was going to do a short walk but when we were about to start the rain came pouring in. Arun and I decided to stay at the hostel while Pete went around Rydal and Grasmere. ... With just 10 shops under this ‘grass roofed’ piece of architecture, there is a limit to what you would find to appeal to every palate. I would suggest this centre would keep families with children entertained, as it houses a reasonably sized toy shop, the largest 3D cinema in the north west and there is a busy (it was Saturday when I was there) pottery painting workshop.
