... quickly , stopping off at mcdonalds for breakfast . At around 9ish we got off the bus to visit a park , taking pictures of waterfalls and rock formations before heading back to New York , stopping off a few times . ... of the only things Jo had recommended when we asked her what was good to see or do was St Joseph street. This was her favourite area. We have no idea why. It was an average looking street with homeless people fighting and a scattering of chain shops (urban outfitters, mango etc.). ... steps to the narrow steeple. The beautiful views of the city and across the river are well worth the climb. At the foot of the tower is a newly constructed urban beach, complete with permanent umbrellas and sun chairs. It's free to enter on weekdays and is a lovely spot to take a break to rest weary feet by wiggling toes in the wam sand after a day of walking.

... clothes as long as I roll instead of fold (HIGHLY recommended), they pack neatly into my bag, and I can access whatever I want without having to make a giant mess each time.

... in Montreal before leaving the next day. This one was called Week-ends Du Monde at Parc Jean-Drapeau. It is basically a World Music Festival with music, dance and food from Africa, South America and Latin America. the atmosphere was pretty chaotic and there were lots of people and long lines for drinks and food but it was good to go and see the Parc and hear some African music and get some yummy Brazilian food for dinner.

We got home around 7pm and had an early night as tomorrow we were off to ...
