    ... good impression of Forrest Gump so that gets quoted quite often. Through movies, yoga, eating, shopping, and just being together, we've been able to chat and have some great conversations. I only met these folks 3 months ago, but I feel like I've known them forever.

    Cirque Eloize - Peacock theatre Was AMAZING! I felt like a little kids making "ooh" and "ahaa"s and covering my eyes at the right time. It was a seriously entertaining show and we basically had front row seats. The standards over here are just the next cut above home. It was a bit of a modern take but still had the usual contortionist, flinging through the ring from the ceiling, lifting people with one hand, balancing on top of 12 chairs stacked up etc. You know, just the ...

    ... however on my last hundred quid so must tread very carefully from here on out. Thankfully my prospects for a little paid work in Ireland whilst at my first placement look quite promising so I should be able to regenerate a little emergency fund once more, but the next few weeks will certainly be a test to my beg/steal/borrow skills, but needs must!     ... Chester (about 4 pounds per person) which included a half price discount from National Express because we are old. The mighty British Empire has been subsidising bus travel for seniors for many years but we read in the newspaper that is about to change. The government has run out of subsidy money, but not quite yet. Our mood brightened considerably when we accepted the discount and boarded the bus, rubbing our hands together perniciously.
