Totally un-coincidently, the friends we made in Cambodia stayed at the same place as us here! It was great for the kids and I must say I loved inviting myself to their room for a wine!! Friday night wine night, with a friend!
Hoi An is a beautiful old town, shame about all the tourists ;) We explored everywhere on bicycle, as the place we …

... market, bought some drinks from her to say thanks for finding a parking spot and headed into the old town. Sinead loved it and I went into the real historic quarter for the first time. It's like going back in time and you an imagine old Chinese traders mingling selling everything and anything... There is a great mix of art shops and handicrafts, street food but some great looking restaurants and bars catering ...

We took a night bus to Hoi An, which shockingly made it there in one piece. We broke down twice, but they managed to fix it both times and at one point they actually pushed the bus off to the side of the road (with all of the passengers still inside.) it seemed that we were going to break down again just outside of Hoi An, but thankfully we didn't. I slept not to badly on the bus - I woke up a lot, especially as the sun came up and other people were on the road ...

Hoi An. Day 10

... we wandered around the town, buying some last minute "must haves" before crossing the river. On the opposite bank, a sound stage had been set up and various groups were singing and dancing. Tonight this part of town was a buzz! There was a street market and the many lantern stalls were a sight to see! We have a favourite cafe, on that side of the river, called Fusion. We like it because it has good coffee: cappuccino and latte! A lovely end to a good ...

... will be ready to try on by evening. I'm slightly freaking out at how cheap everything is and want to buy more. I keep my composure and start walking into town and stop at no less than 12 other tailor shops. By this point I am checking to see how much men suits are so the women don't insist I try everything in the store on and their sales pitch is much more tolerable when they think I'm not buying. I discover that suits are around $100 for the best quality and when I meet ...

Amazing value for money! If you are travelling with family, then this is the place to stay. Loads of room to spread out. Pool and great choice for breakfast menu. Free bikes are fantastic as it is just a little way out of town, which is nice. Staff are beautiful and friendly and did a perfect job with our forwarding travel arrangements. Highly recommend.

A room for two where we stayed is somehow small but clean. We have a sound sleep and always enjoy good breakfast. They have a swimming pool which is best suited for kids because of its size but nevertheless we do love to hop in there to refresh ourselves from hot and humid weather. They have a very lovely garden too!!! Plus, they offered a free dinner party for all the guests(only when all rooms are full). good for couples and family travelers.
