... the name of its location where a city canal meets the Chao Phraya River. Nowadays this colorful market is surrounded by colonial style shop houses. It operates almost 24 hours, and is considered Bangkok´s largest and busiest wholesale market for fresh flowers and vegetables.

We didn´t take more than 20 minutes to get from the Flower Market to Wat Pho, Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The entry fee was BHT 100 which we found pretty reasonable. We took our time and explored ...

... the grand palace, so we got a few snaps along the way. We then had a candle lit dinner and enjoyed a Thai band attempt to sing some English classics, without knowing all the words! A very entertaining night and both felt much more relaxed now after being away from the madness of Khao San road. Our final morning we booked onto Mai Kai Dee's cooking course, which was recommended to me. What an amazing recommendation... We had such a fab time on this course and it was really authentic! ...

... was great and I got into deep conversation with everyone there. When it got late Hannah decided it was time to take the party into Bangkok. We all jumped in cabs and turned up outside this small, empty looking brick building. I think we were all wondering what was going on until we walked closer to the building. ... way out of this alive was to hide behind the van driving by us and sneaking out while the rest was busy chatting some **** between themselves!!! And so we did!!!
We caught a cab back and laid low in it still hiding with an adrenaline running through our body!!!
The one and only response we heard from the police was ''ITS A NEW YEAR!!! GO AND HAVE FUN''. Kidnapping and beating us up was no issue at all.

... This turned out to be a confusing mess of small shops few featuring the styles Lauren was prepared to wear. So we recrossed the street and went to Siam Centre, another collection of high fashion outlets. Now I was tempted to write this section in excruciating detail.
