Dude, where's my chauffeur?

... and treated us to dinner and dessert. The Thai food tends to get a bit spicy. I'm realizing I'm a big baby because no one thinks its spicy except for me. Thankfully white rice is plentiful and will make up most of my diet while I'm here. Dessert was basically a thick piece of french toast soaked in butter and drizzled with honey. Very sweet but good. What a long day. I'm beat and ready to head to the islands tomorrow. Hoping it won't be raining like it did today. Monsoon season is no ...

Day 27 - Cambodia to Thailand

A travel blog entry by callie-lucy

... had plenty of time - phew!

Our flight only took 50mins (Kate was extremely happy with that) then got a cab back to Viengtai. Popped to the tailor shop, which is adjoined to the hotel, for Kate to enquire and get measured for her dress and jumpsuit - exciting! :)

Went for a late dinner nearby before shopping round Kao San. Kate bought a dress and I bought 2 tops. Got back to the room just after 11.30pm, looking forward to a good RT session tomorrow!

I spoke with our waitress who told me she has two young boys, but has to live on the train for her job. The boys live with her mother, and she only sees them 2x a year! The average ...

Going Home

Up at 7 and struggle to evenly load, overload, our cases. We must surely be well over the limit but all we can do is keep our fingers crossed... Taxi booked for 10 am to Makassan Airport Rail link station just a block or two away. It's a great service that whisks you into the airport terminal in 20 minutes. We should ...
