    ... which was very welcome and delicious. They had trekked for hours earlier that evening without me knowing to a bakery and ordered me a giant birthday cake but this sadly never arrived.     ... The patient locals who wait on the travellers day after day. The kindness of the women who will smile and say hello if you initiate it. The beauty of the woman in their colorful saris and their clever and astute sense of business in selling their products.
