      ... I must say the scorpion tasted much better....yuck. Thankfully I was able to wash the taste down with a really awesome Tom Yum soup, a girl had ordered but couldn't finish...the best so far! After dinner we wondered the markets for the 'doggy/funny T-Shirt party' the tour manager had organised, with many a rubber ducky shirt being snatched up. Unfortunately I was starting to feel dizzy again from being sick, and had to pike for the night and went back to the hotel to bed ...

      ... pray in the white temple, making us both feel that this is less a temple and more a curiosity and an artistic vanity project. Although we were slightly unsure exactly how we felt about the temple it was very strange and interesting.       ... with a wire frame and a flammable wax-mixture centre. The paper is held up while the centre is lit, then the lanterns are held until they heat up enough to float – like hot air balloons – into the night sky. We had various sizes and methods for releasing them, but had a great time watching them sail into the distance. A very pretty version of letting go helium balloons!
