    ... to our surprise had a customized sign stating “Welcome Ginny & Bill” and were handed two glasses of champagne. Shortly after sitting down the British owner David (who has a Thai wife…thank God b/c no offense but the British are not known for their amazing culinary abilities) came over to introduce himself and walk us through the highlights of the menu.

    ... The beginning of the walk was tough but we were well slept and keen so we marched on up. After about two hours, we reached a small Lahu tribal village in which black and sticky rice were being grown. There didn't seem to be many people around but we stopped at one house where Win cooked up some vegetables for lunch. A little girl was there because it is currently the school holidays in Thailand.     ... silver designs added, surrounded by a canal and green grass. It was completely different from any other temple we'd seen (they're all usually red and gold) which made an interesting change. It turns out that the white temple is a private temple, built by an artist using money he raised from selling paintings and it was built only 18 years ago.
