... still very thoughtful until Daddy said...you beat me!!! You were so fast Marn's well done! It was high five's all round and off we went again. Marni even walked!
Rosie had a great time too, she went down the sledge with Nanny several times, avoided the luge and the donuts, just like Marni!!
We were over the moon, because it meant we were likely for a good trip next week!
Next stop was Airflix - ...
First event was a puddle which had iced over and then we had to stop at the railway crossing. The train that went by had a roof covered in snow...but the kids missed it! When we made it to the seafront (Marni still walking, although we had done 1,2,3....swing! - Brody is just too heavy though.) There was snow in the Lakes District hills. Yeah...very exciting. We walked along the seafront and went into the first pub we found ...

Brody played with them (staying out of the puddles). He went on the flying fox, over the obstacle course, back on the flying fox and in the big swing. Marni was a bit quieter, in fact I don't think her new ...
... Suzy arrived.
Christmas lunch was Roast turkey and veg, with christmas pudding. There was 8 adults, 9 children all sat round the table.
After lunch we went for a walk around the block with the kids. I carried Marni at least for half of it. Christmas night, was Suzy, Dave, Matt and myself from about 8pm! Roz wasn't well, Rob was checking the gas meters. Yep, that's right, Rob ...
Matt returned and we went for a quick walk to Bare and the Morecambe seafront to and made sure that we were back in time for the arrival of the Embrey family, Liz, Mike, Alexander, Lincoln and Annabelle. The Morecambe seafront was blowing a gale and was very icy cold - a northerly wind.
Liz and Co arrived and we had a family afternoon together with Suzie's clan, ...
