We started our tour of the Garden Route yesterday. The drive has been gorgeous- I had no idea how mountainous South Africa is, and the drive was rolling greens hills, large fields of yellow flowers, little white cabins by lakes, high desert scrub, and rocky coastline. Just one beautiful view after another.

Now we've left the Wild Coast behind, but don't get the wrong idea -- the highway spans a series of spectacular gorges including Storms River and the world's highest bungie jump off the bridge at Bloukrans River, where you can turn off the highway for a good view. Day1 - We started our day nice and early cleaning the Aviary where all the exotic birds and the Momasett monkeys live :) We then Helped Wayne clean out prickles the porcupine and Bambam and Betty the Meerkats.
