    ... my delight!

Both the cocktails and six course feast that we were served were delicious and was easily the best meal we had whist island hopping. Our waitress was also the friendliest Thai person we've ever met, even joining in with our photo taking and generally keeping us entertained throughout the meal. It was a lovely way to finish up our two weeks with the girls and last night in Thailand before we catch yet another night train back to Malaysia to continue our travels ...

... armed with sunscreen, cameras and intrigue we went out to see what was beyond our front garden. A walking street lined with shops selling everything from handmade jewellery of intricately decorated Thai silver to sarongs in every hue of pink, green and gold, you can envisage, not to mention all the food! There are about 4 bars along the beach that blast music out so much you can't hear anything and all compete with fireshows. ...

    Today was a fab day!

For 250 baht (5.00) you can hire mo-less for the whole day to bomb around the island which is exactly what we did! Kong Lanta is approx 30km long and 6km wide with beaches down the
entire north to south coastline. Traditionally popular for those who want to get away from it all rather than party party but with arguably some of the quietest beaches; it's pretty unspoilt in places but starting to ...

... couldn't have enjoyed the company more. After a restful afternoon we went around the corner for a burger at an Aussie bar then explored the hood a little more.Came across a really cool boutique hotel restaurant named Nicky's Handlebar, and the care taker was more than happy to show us around(pic's to follow),turns out Nicky is a local guy who has been collecting Harley, motor bike stuff for years and this is what he has done with it,and very tastefully I must say.We wandered ...
