... Spezia, we were on our way! Once we got to the station, we bought a ticket for the entrance to the national park, and took another train towards the villages! That day we visited Manarola, Monterosso, and Vernazza. Unfortunately, the hiking paths connecting the towns were closed due to landslides and rainfall, but in hindsight it was probably for the best in letting my heels rest! ... I could hear Vavldi blaring down the street, which is unusual. I went down to investigate and found a street performer dressed as Charlie Chaplin entertaining the crowds. He was pulling people from the crowd and getting them to perform in his act. At one point he pulled a little girl from the crowd.
