Still night I'm waken up on the north of the Germany by rocking waves hitting the ship. Is it good intro for this day?

Starting over… We are going from Germany to Denmark by ferry, it will take around 40 min of sail. Hmm… I think I never used term "sail" in my blogs. It’s first time for me to go by ferry :-) In the cargo are it looks almost the same as the Eurotunnel train, otherwise it’s floating restaurant and few shops. On the upper deck you ...

... Sophie came back to Tumbarumba for a visit in 2002. We have always enjoyed visiting her and her family, where we feel welcome and are treated just like family. We met up with Sophie and her parents in Livigno in Italy in 2004 and had a few days with Sophie in Paris in 2011. Our girls have also visited with Sophie and her parents at various times when they've been out and about travelling the world. It's always a pleasure to see her and she is a part of our family. We also have Vibe ...

As I was the first one today and in low season I had the Palace practically to myself. Although elaborate it was not as grand as Frederiksborg outside of Copenhagen I'd visited two days ago. (See entry Frederiksborg Slot tries/londone7/29/1414341980/tpod.html )

... castle. Built by a King who idolized Louis 14th and wanted an equally over the top castle like Versaille. Amazing church on one wing including the oldest (still used) pipe organ in the world. Its played every week! and its 400 years old! THen back to the ship for a lovely sail away from Copenhagen with amazing wind turbines in the sea near the ship and seagulls following us. Off to Berlin ...

Copenhagen, oh Copenhagen, you charming Northern European gem. We only had three days together, but you definitely made an impact on us. We explored Copenhagen mostly on foot, but on our last day, rented bikes and moved around town like the locals do. I'm writing this entry several months after our trip (January 2015) so I hope I can capture our experience well enough.

We took the train from Berlin to Copenhagen. Little did we ...
