... desert, fresh cannoli where they fill it when you order. Yum! It was a great tour. Salvatore was a knowledgable guide about Sicilian food and spent almost three hours with us. We learned he was also a lawyer, doing commercial law with a big international firm. He just did these tours on the weekends so he could share his passion about Sicilian food with others.

Heading back to Catania tomorrow for a few days.

... class. We also made swordfish rolls. These are very popular in Sicily and we saw them throughout the markets. The recipe says to ask your fishmonger to slice the swordfish as thin as possible. Don't think this is happening in Asheville! (Notice the picture of the swordfish being sliced. ) The bell pepper, caper and black olive salad was good. Tom had found a sailboat excursion in Tripani, a town about an hour from Palermo that we were going to do today, but it had to be canceled because there needed to be at least 6 people and we were the only ones.
