... drunken stall owner! Italian kids are up very, very late here and it's not unusual to see little ones walking around with their families after 11pm! First of course the duomo, then lunch under the grape vine, then the castillo.
Then hit the waves, what a fabulous day.
After returning to Palermo drinks at the first bar,
A large beer and what seemed like a pint of gin n a dash of tonic 4 jen n I.
Ended day with a lovely meal n a gelato n Canelo at our local gelataria.
Its tough but we r hanging in there.

Like last evening, the grand plan was to watch the 10 pm game at O’seven, that 90 minute decimation of Spain by the Netherlands. I recruited Daphne into my agenda and she agreed to accompany me for a while, mindful of her closing time and on the way out came across Wendy who promised to join us after a shower. The university trio were blinging up for a party at Messina.
Daphne had been on an Etna excursion as well but with a parallel adventure ...

... After sunset we rode the tram (my first time ever in a tram) to Piazza Venezia from where we took a public bus to the Termini station and walked the remaining distance to Fiesta.
