Spent some time at the cliffs of Uluwatu and seen the temples there. All of the girls had to wear sarongs to cover knees. In the afternoon we relaxed at Padang Padang beach.

... tired or not as good as I thought I was as kept getting thrown off the board and bashed about by the waves. It felt like I had gone a few rounds with Mike Tyson, I felt battered. ... the last snake we saw in the rice fields and as it was getting late we moved to the last place close to our hotel. this was a river estuary and we were hoping to see the sea krait here but even if we did not get to see this interesting species we managed to sea another two different snakes that brought the species count to 7. the first was dog-faced water snake (cerberus rychops) that was seen for the first time in wild by the Bali Reptile Rescue ...

... easy and after some more sleep woke up feeling refreshed :) Found a cheap hotel in Kuta and then went for a walk along the beach. Beach not quite as golden as I'd imagined but the waves were pretty impressive and there are so many surfers who look so cool! Wish I could surf. Me and tom turned into local celebs on our walk, loads of Indonesian people coming up to us asking for photos! Was so funny, felt like Brad Pitt ...
