... due to inadequate planning in the past). We had power cuts on two evenings from 6 pm to 8 pm. It meant using fire stairs, having candlelit dinners, torches charged and no traffic or street lights. Some places have generators to cope but our hotel engineer had to hold the generator button in as there was a problem with it. No one is happy but the power has to be shared around the country to meet demand. We are off to Victoria Falls tomorrow for a few days before we fly ...

Hey guys,

Yesterday we went to visit Sanccob, it's the association who takes care of the seabirds, especially the penguins. This is the place where I adopted mine. The are fantastic and do an amazing work there. I learned a lot, it was very interesting.! When the birds arrived at the clinic the first go to ICU, which is the intensive care unit. Then they will receive treatments, medication depending why they are here. Some of them are sick, hurt, ...

... to us by our last hostel. It is an old fashioned cinema showing current 'arty' films. We were the only people in the cinema with our gin and vodka slush puppies!! We watched another great film called The hundred foot journey .Basically an indian family set up business in a small french village right opposite a michelin starred restaurant. War breaks out...I say no more. That evening we sampled another of the many restaurants on Kloof street.
