... us all so much. Oliver, one of the other volunteers here who's been here for a few months has been trying to sort out, raise money and get Brazio's son to fly here from Malowi to live here with. Brazio and his wife. The sons name is Calvin and he lives in Malowi with his grandma and Brazio hasn't seen him in 4 years time. We thought he was finally flying in on Tuesday but there was a problem with paper work and he couldn't make it and we were all shattered. Especially Oliver. ...

... for lunch. I had a fantastic burger with chips (fries) and tomato sauce ( ketchup). After lunch we saw whales and dolphins along the coast. They were just playing in the water. The whales had a calf with them as well. After lunch and the whales we headed back to the hotel and got here around 3:30 - 4:00 pm and now we are just hanging here waiting for our pizza. It was a FANTASTIC DAY!!!!!!!!

This trip has been in preparation for around a year now, and the scary changes to the exchange rate have made it a lot more expensive than originally planned! But it will give Connor, the nature nerd, in depth insight into what research scientists do. The scientists at the camps are real experts in their field (e.g. herpetologist, ornithologist, lemur specialist, etc), ...

I am happy to be jogging with Etienne, as it is quite hot today. I start to wonder if I will be ableto keep up tomorrow since I have been off running for two weeks now… My heel is ok, even though it is sensitive, but I don't feel particularly strong or rested...

Etienne is getting tired as well and we take some walking breaks. Kiyo who was well ahead of us ...
