In Newcastle with the fam that are trying to convince us to move there, oh so tempting! There is water all around and so much to do, as my Aunty Ca says being there is like your on a holiday all the time - funny that. Lucky for our Melbourne peeps we won’t be moving unless you all join us :)

... a detour in place! We had to go around the block away from home before we could get back in the right direction. We arrived home and left the majority of the bags in the car taking only our packs and Sean's guitars inside. We ate our burgers, showered Sean checked the condition of the guitars and we hit the sack exhausted. We had left the hotel at 7:30 pm Sydney time the night before and it was now 10:30 pm the following day. 27 hours of travelling! I am getting too old for ...

After the amazing hospitality with Cassandra and Graeme, we were back on the road and headed to Port Macquarie. Sadly we didn't have much time here, but planned the following morning to head to the local Koala hospital before heading down the coast to Lake Macquarie and to see my old school friend Adam.
We arrived late to our camp site and just had time to stick some washing in the machines and to enjoy an ice cream from the van that happened to drive around ...
