After a short taxi transfer and another curry lunch at the next hotel we set off for safari on the back of the sort of converted pick up you wouldn't look out of place hanging off the back of waving an AK57. Phoebe really enjoyed the safari, Max not so much initially, mainly because the ...

Early start after the night before to get Sajee's tuk tuk to the waterfall. He looked a bit worse for wear when we saw him but he drove well considering. Getting to the waterfall included a 15 minute barefoot hike and climbing a staircase but it was worth it. We spent around an hour chilling and swimming in the fresh water above the water fall. After we got ...

... my new timetable is that I have a new teaching project on there which I really enjoy, called Kollanawa. It's a shame that I have to stand back a bit and more supervise and observe the new volunteers, but I still get involved! Sometimes I feel like an embarrassing parent at a party trying to be down with the kids - but I don't think they mind! I suppose for the first couple of weeks it's helpful to them...especially when the English ability is so ...
