    ... the park and told the boys to keep their eyes peeled for animals. The first thing we saw was 2 tortoises and Huddy exclaimed 'the mummy turtle is riding the baby turtle!" By the time we had spotted our 20th tortoise we had worked out it was clearly mating season.     The weather is fiiiinneeee. Woop. It's much better. This morning we went on game drive so the newbies could finally explore the reserve. We saw the giraffes and hippopotamus.     While I was home over the holidays, my little sister Jenna really wanted to figure out a way she could help and/or meet my 10th graders at Masinyusane. Together, we came up with the idea of starting a Pen Pal program between her 7th grade classmates and my students. We decided on the name "Uhambo to Friendship."
