... the Lawrence Ferry. Our entertainment came in the form of a lady with three dogs. Julia, Snowball and Maggie were small terriers that seemed to ignore anything that she said despite her saying it many, many, many times. The entire ferry was familiar with all of the dogs names before we had even boarded.

Sandi's husband, Murray got us to the airport...lots of time to spare. All checked in and now a short delay for the first flight. ... terrible when, on their return, the weight of our truck snapped both of their ropes. Just as we were beginning to despair, a man across the road appeared at his door and offered us a chain. This was also a spectacular act of kindness considering that he was attached to a drip at the time.
