Penguins, Bowties and Table Mountain
After a lengthy (but classy) journey to Cape Town, we managed a brief tour of our hostel before taking a power nap (which soon tuned into an afternoon snooze). First Stop - Cape Town
We arrived at 10.30 local time after a very comfortable flight. Even managed to sleep. (Well, Veronica did. It must be down to all those years of night duty!)
31 degrees here in Cape Town! Picked up our hire car and drove off to Kalk Bay where we are staying in a lovely house overlooking the sea.
Our first evening was spent with our old friends Paul and Adell who cooked us a braai and kindly let us use their computer.
