      ... quaint buildings somebeing built in the 1700's would you believe, and a fishing background. Well known for its seafood -lobster and clam chowder, we had both. The place selling lobsters as doing a roaring trade - he had live ones in tanks as you walk in, and cooks them on the spot, serving them with melted butter. A bit messy but tasty.

      ... aspiring gold- diggers and the like!!!! When I was in this shop a tarot card reader stopped me and told me I had a very strong psychic aura! Who knew?! She said if I wanted to I could start doing tarot and palm readings! She recommended me some books which I am sorry to report I did not buy!       ... the hotel, with a stop to say hello to Karole. It was actually 40 degrees today so enjoyed the walk. Tonight we plan to walk to the Chart House. When we stayed here the first time we had a wonderful dinner there so have saved it for our last night.       ... Burying Point is the oldest burying ground in the city of Salem. Around the corner, find the Witch Trials Memorial, dedicated in 1992 as part of the Salem trials' tercentenary.

      At the end of the day we caught the local Trolley tour bus to Salem Harbor for the boat trip back to Boston and a different view of the Boston skyline from Massachusetts Bay.
