    The flight to Nadi, Fiji was great!!! We got called up a few minutes before boarding and were told that we got an upgrade to business class. It was soo cool! The seats fully reclined to a bed. We were given sleep mask, toothbrush, comforter and pillows. The meal was great ...

    ... 8217; time – a full hour of free drinks; I drink their beer, so it’s a big gulp of beer for an hour. I ensure right on cut-off point I have two beers on the go – these ones I drink slower.

    Back to the room for me I put on my headphones and cook dinner – prawns with vegies in Hoisin Sauce – with boiled rice - came out a ripper.

    To cap the night off we watched Tropic Thunder – what a funny ...

    On the way back we caught the Westbus again via the Port of Denarau and to the Wyndham. I visited reception and settled our account which included some housekeeping fees. (I like to stay in front because these 'book it to your room' accounts have a habit of catching up with you).

He went on to tell us that the root stock was from a normal kiwi tree with the golden kiwi tree grafted onto it, that way the golden kiwi had a sweeter flavour, we stood there waiting for him to pluck a kiwi from the tree, whip out his kiwi growers knife, slice the fruit in half and show us the amazing golden colour and let us taste the sweet golden flavour...... but he didn’t, maybe he’d forgotten his knife. He told us that you could only grow the golden kiwi’s ...
