I can't believe we're leaving Kota Kinabalu today! I still don't think it had still sunk in we were leaving but we arrived at KK airport at half 9 leaving behind the century hotel and our home for this last 8 weeks. After checking in we grabbed some breakfast from McDonald's before waiting around in the departure lounge. ... into some of the rooms in the Hyatt - you could even see into peoples bathrooms which is hilarious! They have very nice grand round bathtubs there FYI. So I arrived on Sunday, late afternoon and had a quick wander around and got something to eat in Chinatown which is a two minute walk from the hostel I've been staying at. It's a great location to be actually, with the train station a 30 second walk around the corner which then takes you right into the centre on the line ...
