It took longer than planned because of the trail signs being difficult to following in places and with panniers on it is near impossible to get a bike through the gates on trails that have been put in to stop motorbikes. Today we continued on from York to the home of the Beatles, Liverpool! Before making our way to the York train station we walked down the river and saw Clifford's tower and made some friends with the local Canadian geese. This tower was the setting of a very sad story.
