The Sagrada Familia is a "must see" in a Barcelona. It is both ugly and yet beautiful. I believe you could spend a lifetime studying this building and still not see or discover all it has to offer!
Some of the amazing highlights are - it was started in 1882 and is predicted to be completed in 2026. Gaudi devoted his last years on this project and at the time of his death at 73 ( he was hit by a tram) it was less than a quarter finished. He had however left both models and ...

... meters high and the Passion facade one goes up 75 meters. I chose the Passion one as I felt it would take us up higher and that we'd see more.

We found the desk to get audio headsets, and were told to do our tower tour first, which would take us to the top of the church, then do the guided tour afterwards. Gaudi designed the church and began its construction in 1883, and when he died in 1926, it was only about 15% ...

... cheese had been baked into mine. Greg and Sydney decided on something sweet. Greg had an awesome looking (and tasting) raspberry pastry while Sydney had a dark chocolate filled croissant... Also very yummy. Later on, we walked around and took pictures of some of the beautiful old buildings. Even though I have been here before, the architecture and ornate detail on the buildings never ceases to amaze me! We are looking forward to the additional ...
