      City full of weird and unusual buildings

      Today we went on a bus tour of Barcelona, Spain. First of all we went up to an Olympic village where there was a lookout and enjoyed the sites of the city. As we drove around the city we saw some really strange looking buildings.

      We saw some bull fighting places, but they are now used for other things like shopping malls as they are not allowed to bull fight any more.

      ... right!!

      We spent a few days in a campground with everything we would need to pack up and tidy the motor home. My favourite thing about this place was the swallow nest in the womens washroom. Five baby swallows were being looked after by both their parents and you could see them growing and demanding more food every day. Little heads popping up and mouths squawking non-stop as soon as the parents were near. We were camped under a peach tree ...

      When I learned that we would be living in Paris, I immediately became excited about the fact that I would get the chance to visit Barcelona!

      Why Barcelona? To visit Aunty Hazel of course.

      Aunty Hazel is my mother’s oldest sister who has lived in Barcelona for over 50 years. She is now 88 years old and in excellent health for her age, despite crippling arthritis she’s had to deal with over recent years. In her heyday ...
