... worth the trek. There was also a woman in her 70s selling drinks that must have trekked up earlier - not sure how she did it, but good on her.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing, sitting by the river and soaking up the last of China. The whole China journey had gone so quickly and it was sad to think this was the last day, however had Hong Kong to look forward to. China had surprised us in many ways and created some lasting memories.

There are about 12 fish tanks lined up and when I ducked into an empty shop (no customers) it seemed rather ...

... itself, although a complete tourist trap, was relaxing and surrounded by natural beauty. In fact look up the scenery in Yangshuo on google, it's described as karst although I don't know what that means, it sounds like the phonetic way a southerner would spell cast. When you see the pictures you'll most likely be very impressed, for me it was one of the most unique backdrops I've seen. It's incomparable surroundings make the town itself ...

... left and rights!! I just thought it was lucky the moves were very slow, any quicker and I would have been completely lost!! She managed to teach us the first four moves and then gave us a demonstration of the whole 24 - I was so glad we didn't have to learn them all - we would have been there all day!!!

After waking our bodies up with tai chi, the obvious thing to do, of course, was go for a McDonald's breakfast - oh that McMuffin ...
