    ... not mean that the rest of family is any less dear, but I think most Americans have some concept of "circles" of family- we even have a word for it-- "immediate" family vs "extended" family. Not just "family". Perhaps this comes from an immigrant nation of people who have left their extended family behind? Perhaps this is part of what allows our culture to take more risks, because we do not have much family honor to protect?

    ... 000 ($32) . Meg also got a fake Tiffany bracelet for 60,000($6) it was very hot so we got a taxi back for $3 and went for a swim . Dean and the kids had been swimming and now sleeping ( again !) relaxed for the afternoon , went down to chemist and got jack some cream for his itchy back ( driving me insane ) from sunburn .     ... get to. So I went with 4 woman from my dorm to dinner. Great bunch. Got drunk with Tara an american student in a bar and listened to the wicked live band. Great night. Hope to see her again as she studying in England for her masters. Tues 23rd - went to Kuta to meet Pieter and Anita a Spanish lady. We sat on the legendary kuta beach the waves were massive and its a beautiful sandy beach. The beach has a bad rep but it was clean and the waves fun. That night the 3 of us went to ...
