Fairly uneventfully 2 hour journey down to Pattaya apart from it started to rain about half way and I had to make a dash from the tuk tuk I got from bus station, in to the hotel, nearly falling A over T as i slipped on the lobby's tiled flooring! I thought I,d been a bit clever and booked some of my accommodation via the internet. The idea being to find cheap places near to the areas I wanted . I picked the Marina Inn as it was cheap for Pattaya had a pool and was not to close to ...

Instead leaving them in the room was one of the hardest things, I was glad to be sat in the front ...

When we got there, we didn't really like what we saw between the dodgy bars, shops and old men, we headed out of the main Beach Road, to a ...

... accomodation by the hour! As we walked on, we soon came to realise that every street was jam packed full of massage parlours which offered "happy endings", tattoo parlours which stayed open twenty four hours for when you leave your "loved one" and feel the urge to get their name engraved in your chest at six in the morning and pharmacies which gave free HIV tests and confidential smear tests! I now understood why this place hadn't featured as a Thai highlight since the ...
