Chumphon to Hau Hin
... was very poor, with large and deep potholes. We were the second car to arrive at the start control and the organisers, having driven the road, were anxious to put to our consideration whether to keep or scrap the stage. Originally this was to have been driven at an average speed of between 40 and 50 Km/hour, but given the road condition, they quickly advanced this average requirement would be scraped. Arrive at the coast Hua Hin
... now. Been suffering with tooth ache since Friday evening so off to the tooth doctor I go, she takes X-ray and says its broken and needs to come out and whilst your in the chair you may as well have the old root that's doing nothing out as it will give you problems later, ok take em both, when can you do it, now, wow that's service and stops you worrying about going back. Old root out with no problem, the one that's giving me gip took half hour of pulling to come out and I'm in more pain ...
Homeward bound...
... for our final night. Hua Hin is three hours from the airport, which we didn't fancy doing before our 12.50pm flight. Our hotel is only 20 minutes from the airport, much more manageable! We have left plenty of time to enjoy a final evening out in Bangkok, but without realising, our speed creeps up to 120kph. Two policemen are lying in wait and use a red flag to pull us over. Fond Farewell to Hua Hin
... it out for a wander round on the last morning, didn't go to see anything in particular apart from the temple in Hua Hin, he just wandered along the pier and seafront (his pics are below). I think we did get to see a good amount of other areas around Hua Hin though whilst there. The fact we didn't see some of the sights actually in Hua Hin means we have stuff to see when we go back :o)

Continual of the pampering
... small town and have access to all the restaurants easier. We also found a better and really nice boutique hotel called The Lapa, we moved there the second day so that we can spend a full day lounging at the nice pool. It was 2 fairly relaxing and pampering days, plus 2 amazing sunset downers at InterContinental Hotel where we saw the most amazing sunsets.
