      Koh Kong so far

A travel blog entry by niomioconnor on Jul 03, 2014

Yesterday we arrived by bus in Koh Kong. The bus station is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and the journey was much shorter than we expected so we weren't really sure if we had ended up in the right place but thankfully all was well and we arrived at the hotel shortly after. Our hotel wasn't the cheapest option, but still only costs just under three pounds a night per person. We decided that we wanted to invest in decent accommodation so ...

Fortunately I have dealt with kebab makers on many occasions so I stand ...

The trip took a bit longer than we expected and we were starving by the time we arrived at Lonely Beach, so we quickly found a couple of budget beach huts for 200B a night - bargain! We ...

... it in its natural form the road just ends and turns to just a gravel track, after following that was about 10 minutes you arrive at the tree tops resort, where they have just built huts in the trees and you need a ladder to get to, wouldn't fancy trying to get up there 1 with my bag or 2 when had a few to drink, that would end bad.

Sadly the sea was in and the beach was covered in rubbish, which was slightly sad to see, cos ...

Today our friends from Paris, Brigitte and Dominique left also. It's a pity that everybody is leaving because they have to go back to work. Brigitte and Dominique stayed in our hotel and we had very nice conversations every evening. And I thought I would forget ...
