... not have my iPad. We must have left it on the cart. With all of our extra bags and carrying our sweatshirts, we did not realize that we were missing something. Bill went back and I anxiously waited beyond security. We were both certain it was gone. Who would not be tempted to keep it? It was not on the cart, so Bill raced back to the information desk (10 min walk away) and it was there! Our Patron Saint of Travel, St Christopher, has once again been looking out for us!

... myself a pair of pink clogg slippers, so not the wooden cloggs but some nice soft ones that I thought might come in handy when I need to walk around my dorm in Germany. We went for a walk around the famous Amsterdam Flower Market and surrounding area. The Herrengracht or Gentleman's Canal is where the largest and most opulent of the canal houses are located. ... and seeing the beauty of the different canals. After a quick rest at home, we went out for dinner at a local restaurant on the water just 2 minutes away from our house. The restaurant, called Café Het Molenpad, is a brown café (the Dutch equivalent to a local pub) and they serve drinks and snacks during the day and drinks and dinner at night.
