... We talked about Slovenia and Croatia. But decided that it was probably a little to far. So we settled on riding south into Italy.
We had always planned to do Arabba, Lake Garda and Lake Como. But we weren't due to get there until next week.
So after breakfast we set off for Italy. Gilly's useless Satnav was again 'doing it's own thing'. So I led the charge through Southern ...
... That's about it. We lunched on the balcony, walked around the town, had some drinks overlooking the harbour and enjoyed dinner on the edge of the water.
As I write our bags are nearly packed and tomorrow we drive to Rome to drop off our car. We have 2 nights at the beach near the airport and then 4 nights in Bangkok before our flight to Sydney.
Took a couple videos-pictures really couldn't capture it. Shows each location on the grounds after it was used/when empty. We got there and hung in the front lawn, then moved to the courtyard and back lawn for appetizers. They were carving prosciutto for us... I have found the perfect wine. More later. For now I have to do something about the chlorine in my hair from the late night dip. Opera in Verona tonight. Kisses from Italy.xx Ps. Judd, there was a pedicure incident. ...
... you dont get the same view odf the lake as you do on the east coast. The west cost seems to be more expensive too, with petrol being at least 10-15cents more a litre!
So, all in all, today was a better day, and I have a smile back on my face (although that may also be to do with the fact that I finally have a bottle of wine - for about 2euros!)
Tomorrow I hope to get to Verona.

We had an early start for a morning 9 holes of golf at Verona GC. This was followed by one more visit to the enchanting Borghetto sul Mincio for lunch overlooking the weir. Pre-dinner drinks were first at the Opera Wine Bar overlooking the Arena, and then on the river at the Japanese restaurant, 'Confusion' (great name, eh?).
