... balmy 2.deg C, It was the bank holiday public holiday in Dublin, so all the locals were out in force which made for a manic shopping experience. Of course we managed to spend. Wicklow Mountains and a Guinness
We have posted some more photos and a comment on yesterdays blog of the 18th - so have a look.
Bags have arrived safe and in tact.
After a big Irish breakfast, another day on a bus tour - this time out into the country side to see the Wicklow mountains and lakes. County Wicklow is called the garden of Ireland, and it was certainly very scenic.

First day!
... some more and tried to head back to our hostel. We sort of went out of our way for a few blocks, but we got out the map and figured out where we needed to go. Now we're back at the hostel. Our room is pretty decent. So far there is only one other person in our room out of the ten beds in it. We also have a bathroom and shower in our room. Should be a fun two nights! Afterwards we had a quick lunch then left Steph for Dublin Airport to return the car which we eventually did, then took the bus into the city. The St George is not a patch on Bewleys in ALL respects but it will be okay, being more central city I guess puts the prices up. It’s a Georgian building built in 1750, traded with more and more difficulty until 1979, stood derelict for a few years (even lost its roof), ...
