    ... it one at a time, no massive surge, just orderly. They also line up along the curb, thereby leaving the footpath (sidewalk) free for other pedestrians to walk past. I was so amazed and impressed. Simple courteous behaviours, like these, make living and moving about a big city much easier. Also no one ran into me.     ... getting tired of watching every step I had to take so called it a day. Made my way back to the hotel for a short rest before heading out shopping. I am so proud of myself that I have finally worked out the metro and today is the final day of my pass. I walked past a nice boutique yesterday with some dresses that I liked.     ... gave me the wrong meal and then insisted it was correct and I was too hungry to argue, we returned to the hotel to drop off our purchases and try the new iPad charger. It still wouldn't charge! Quelle horreur! No more blog! No Internet banking! I was starting to panic. What if I'd somehow blown up the iPad by plugging it into a foreign socket? What sort of strife would I be in when I came back to work? We went back to the Apple Store and I saw the same nice ...

    ... French building in front of it that obstructs it from view. Very subtle but effective ways of demonstrations. The Queen Elizabeth is one of the most boring faćades for a Fairmont hotel. We were a block away and could not find it. Since it was built in the late 50s, it has that Cold War box look. The inside is gorgeous, very nice and the staff was fabulous - especially Lisa.
