... In Ourense after th e Roman Bridge there are two different routes. Legend says that the Peregrinos selected which path based on which route was bing taxed by the Bishop. Today, was the longest stage - 33K which is about 20 miles. It began with a very beautiful early morning flat section through cute villages and fields. I stopped for water at one of the Pilgrim Fountains and then the ascent began. It wasn't as bad a a Canda but it was steady..and long. ... quite far before I found it but I was confident that even though thee was no ATM that they would be able to give me cash if I went inside. NOT SO MUCH. So, after much back and forth and phone calls, the realized at Juan at the butcher shop next door had a Smart adapter for his iPhone. He fetched me, ran my MasterCard through his phone and for 3€ Commision i now have 100€. I was a miracle...thank you Apple and thank ...
