... Tried to get rid of his ever increasing tshirt tan. On the computers downstairs that night, we were approached by a stray ginger and white cat, who seemed very friendly but on guard. He was not allowed to be in the hotel, and was passing into the territory of a bigger ginger cat who had presidency of the poolside. In silence they approached each other and then erupted into a loud fight, breaking a big tourist stand and resulting in a telling off from the hotel ...

... 50kms being lulled into a false sense of "how fantastic are these motorways", we get to the Peage at the end, and the traffic is suddenly stopped and channeled into one of about 15 or so toll-lanes leading to the toll-booth and the barrier. We inch forward, taking about 15 minutes to get to the actual monster itself, and finally it's my turn..... Same old story..... Queue up to get to a toll-booth, and crawl forward getting the mirror to just scrape the machine....maybe ...

... route back which was great as it gave us another perspective of the countryside. This route took us through Avignon and we stopped for a 'nature break' as they say on the Tour, found a modern shopping centre with a nice restaurant so decided to stay there for dinner which was very pleasant. By the time we got back to St Remy it was 9.00pm after another very pleasant ...

... at 7 in morning as very long drive to Reims for the night, our last night together. This has all gone too quickly !!!! SATURDAY 22 SEPT Got away ok at 7 and had very good trip to Reims, think we got ahead of the Cote D'Azur traffic.
