Today was great, fair amount of driving for Sean, lots of twists and turns.
We filled up with petrol whilst not low, it was cheaper in Luxembourg than France, however still expensive, we found something dearer than Perth at $1.95 litre!
From the servo we left the Moselle region and into Lorraine, ending up in the Alsace region.< …
... in this room and the lights went off and there was this monsters voice that was actually scary and I remember hiding behind the girls. When we got to the ride part it was 2 per car, so Denisse had to go alone. muahaha! It was a fun ride after that though because it was just like the Haunted Mansion in Disney with the 3 singing heads and nothing really popped out at you! (the best part/relief).

As for the remaining two days, what can I say, more beers, black forest gateau and schnitzels, and the first time I’ve been called by the hotel reception just to “check we’re OK”, ...
... amazing. We saw the sun set and experienced going though our third lock. What an amazing experience. How clever were the people from centuries ago in developing the infrastructure of the locks. Blows me away.
So now we are back in the room chilling and watching the world go by finishing our champagne and drinks.... So I am going to say goodnight from Roco and Coco. More to come ...
From JFK, we took a flight to Zurich. Lu slept, Marco hardly. Not the comfiest of rides. Arrived early in the am. Poor Lu got sick again, but she was a trooper. Form there, we had to find the train station & finally the train to Freiburg. We stopped in Basel, and finally arrived in Freiburg, nearly 24h. from leaving SF. Lee ...
