Land of milk and honey?
The land milk and honey, fresh baguettes and good wine. Got that picture in mind? i am not there. A ll that stuff exists but i am miles out of town and after hitching into town I found it closed. Really. whats the point having a land of milk honey and fresh baguetts if I cant buy any. A day trip to colmar
stephanie and i decided to take a 45 minute train ride to colmar france from strasbourg. there was some great shopping, food, and wine. colmar is where the statue of librty was built. the town has a bit more of a german feel and is the home to flambe and fois gras. both were excellent! wedenesday we head back to colmar ...
Busy busy busy
... appreciated when we were on the train and I said I would stay awake and then passed out cold 10 minutes later. Woops! I Doctored her up with emergenC, an adjustment and loads of vitamin d. I made sure we all did!! Well currently I am the only one awake and I have 2 snoring peeps in the room. Tomorrow we are checking out the spa and surrounding areas. I cannot wait!! Good night! ... original. The second was a chance walking into a local hostelry called the "Golden Angel". Wine quickly appeared - not what we had ordered, but hey you can't have everything - and there we were, absolutely surrounded by every conceivable depiction of cherubs. Climbing the walls, hanging from the ceiling, climbing up the banister etc etc. Honestly for an awful moment I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!!!

Feldberg - Auf Achse im deutschen Regenwald
... dort in der Sonne (!!!!!) über eine Frau geärgert, die dort richtig lahm runtergefahren ist. Angeblich konnte man mit der Bahn sowieso nur 40km/h fahren und nicht herausfallen, also wird Bremsen ja wohl auch überbewertet. Als wir an der Reihe waren, hab ich dem Ganzen allerdings nicht mehr geglaubt. Höchstgeschwindigkeit bei uns: 55km/h und die Wagen heben schon mal aus der Bahn ab. Toll war´s trotzdem, viel besser als die Bahn in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis!
