The guide does us proud again and another canpsite has been bulldozed. everyone hassles us for a bit and offers us crabs and oysters and continues to repeat that despite it being ok for campervans to park up we're not allowed. then arrives some other person and offers us his garden. we reckon this is the best option so figure we'll sleep there. It's a nice garden and has a table! the level of being sold stuff has stepped up ...

The next day, we rented 3 boogie-boards at really nice guy's place. They were a blast! I also got really good waves and I felt good at it. On a normal wave, I might go 75 meters at least!! Some of the waves were even 3 meters tall!!!
I have had a blast learning to surf and wish you were all here, too.

We finally arrived late at Safi, an old but industrialized town famous for its pottery. We got to the medina, the ancient part of town and looked for Hotels. there must have been some 8 before i found a room. It really was a dirtbag but had no choice. It was only 50Dh (4.50euro / 3.80quid) and the sheets stank and so did the room. The walls ...
... anymore. When we get to Essaouira we can pick up a few.
At a big town called Safi we make a stop at a panoramic viewpoint and a street vendor approaches me, a little girl whose name ive forgotten. I manage to exchange some words in basic Arabic and i give her a 1euro coin as a souvenir, she is all smiles and gives me a packet of chewing gum
