... far as Strasbourg with our gears getting worse and worse so when a British woman offered to take us to a bike shop we didn't decline! campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. ... for over an hour and a half and saw no one. not a soul. We did learn that the supermarket opens at 8am the next morning. We also learned that General de Gaul visited the church in Erstein to attend midnight mass Christmas Eve 1944.
