... as exploring the majesty of the Canadian Rockies.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves, as first things first, we have a FIRST CLASS FLIGHT to experience!!!! God bless Avios points!!!!!! Obviously for an 11.50am flight at an airport 45 mins down the road, the obvious thing to do is get up at 5.30am (!) but the lure of a first class lounge, a free Elemis pre-flight massage and an endless glass of champagne is a strong motivator at times such as these.   • Called home, and asked my mom to see if she could get in touch with Alitalia or at least with the travel agent who bought my ticket
  • Went all the way to Terminal 5 - I was at Terminal 3 - hoping that the Alitalia desk was open - and of course it was closed
