... s Castle wasn't a far walk. The museum leading up to the castle was one of the most interactive and fun museums I have been in. (refer to the pictures of me dressed up as a knight!) Along with being fun, it retold the history of the castle, including the siege that took place in 1642. We were then able to walk around the castle itself, which was just as fun and interesting.

-One, that on my trek to the city from the airport, I joined another girl who already ordered a taxi and had a rather colorful talk with the driver, sitting up front, horsing around, and learning that, after asking about work opportunities, that I could join the ladies on a street just around the corner from where I live. ... e there, except a few people who were very good. We skated, drank some wine and skated a bit more. After that, we took a cab to Dolan's Pub where I got to try potato leek soup and Irish stew, accompanied with a Smithwick. ... Blarney House manor and an enchanted witch and fairy playground. Along the way we marveled at the "natural" waterfalls and prehistoric stone circles, as well as made friends with a horse and donkey. I also took a blind walk up and down some wishing steps, much to Ryan's and Rufio's amusement. We ended our self-guided tour with a crawl through the caves beneath the castle.
