School's out, work is on pause and the cottage industry is closed for Christmas. It's finally here after months of waiting and we're all beside ourselves with excitement.

The bags are packed (with space to spare thanks to Annette's frugal choice of clothes) and we have even managed to find room for Ellie much to Esther's relief.

We've got so many exciting new experiences ahead of us crammed into a 7 week trip. South East Asia here we come!

... machine which was pretty funny. Today went back into the city and checked out the maritime museum as they had a 100th anniversary of the sinking of the titanic exhibit which was really cool. Had a quick goosey gander in the museum then wandered along the harbour to the Atlantic monument then back into the city taking pics here and there. Here we are on the train back to London. ... the woods on one side, sand dunes on another with trees lining the whole of the walking areas. When we walked over the boardwalk, we finally got to the beach. At this point the rain had started to spit a little bit, but I didn't care. The beach is lovely, the sand looks perfect and the waves were banging.
