    We started off our second week in the New Forest with a trip to the Isle of Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast. The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula with the English Channel to the east and south and Poole Harbour to the north. The Jurassic Coast is 95 miles of coastline from east Devon to Dorset with rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth's history. Because of its geological importance, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage site.

    ... the people I had to help were all on the high side of 70. It was a beautiful sunny day, probably one of the nicest so far. A beautiful day lends itself to a beautiful sunset, and we had one of the nicest so far this cruise. I expect that we'll have a few more as we get up closer to Iceland.     We are just about to go for breakfast. We plan to go into Swindon and get currency from the travel agents (again!).
